Intake carbon buildup (TSI/TFSI, TDI)
In direct-injection engines, carbon builds up on the valves and in the manifold — loss of power, hesitation, higher fuel use. Intake cleaning helps.
Timing chain and tensioner
Rattling on cold start in petrol TSI/TFSI engines is a signal to check the chain and tensioner.
Oil consumption
Some older TFSI engines can use a fair amount of oil. Cylinder endoscopy shows the condition of the rings and carbon buildup without dismantling the engine.
DSG transmission
Jerking on pull-away and gear changes — we check the clutches, the mechatronic unit and the oil. Oil changes in wet DSGs follow the manufacturer’s interval.
Water pump and thermostat
Coolant leaks around the pump or thermostat housing are a common issue on petrol engines.
EGR, DPF, AdBlue in TDI
Limp mode, a DPF or AdBlue warning light — computer diagnostics will show whether regeneration, cleaning or replacing a part will help.

Yes — cleaning the manifold and intake valves is one of our specialities. We check the state of the carbon buildup before the procedure.
Do you change the oil in DSG transmissions?
Yes, we change the oil and filter in DSG transmissions and carry out the adaptation afterward.
