Brakes
In hybrids the pads wear more slowly, but the calipers and slide pins can seize and the discs can corrode. We check the whole system at the service, not just the pad thickness.
Suspension and control arms
Knocking and play at the front, especially on the RX, IS and GS — control arm bushings and links are the typical points to check. After replacement we set the wheel alignment.
Air conditioning
In hybrids the A/C compressor is electric and requires the correct oil. If cooling is weak, we diagnose the system first and only then refill or repair it.
Cooling system and inverter pump
Coolant loss, overheating or hybrid system faults can be caused by the inverter coolant pump. We check the condition of the pump and the coolant with diagnostics.
12V battery
A weak 12V battery can trigger many warning messages and problems starting the system. Before looking for faults in the control units, we check the battery and charging.
Timing chain on the V6
V6 engines use a timing chain. Rattling after a cold start or camshaft position faults are a signal to have it checked — diagnostics will confirm the cause.

Do you service Lexus hybrids?
Yes, in terms of mechanical work: brakes, suspension, cooling system, oils, air conditioning and the 12V system. We do not repair high-voltage batteries.
Do you inspect a Lexus before purchase?
Yes. A pre-purchase inspection includes computer diagnostics and an inspection on the lift. You get a report with photos.
How much does Lexus diagnostics cost?
Computer diagnostics starts at 100 PLN. After the diagnostics you get a repair quote to approve.
