Why walnut shell
1.Safe for metal
The media is harder than carbon but softer than the aluminium cylinder head — unlike sand or soda it does not scratch the surface.
2.Does not damage seals
Instead of solvents that can harm rubber and plastics, it works purely mechanically.

Frequently asked questions
Is a fuel additive or throttle spray enough?
In direct-injection engines fuel never reaches the intake valves, so fuel additives will not clean them. A spray only works on the throttle body.
How long does the service take?
It depends on the engine design and access to the manifold — we give the exact time together with the quote.
Can the media stay in the engine?
We clean the ports with the valves closed and vacuum the media out as we go, and we check every port before reassembly.
How often should the intake be cleaned?
It depends on the engine and driving style. During diagnostics we assess the carbon build-up and tell you whether cleaning is already needed.
