What drivers most often come in with
Typical symptoms and faults in Range Rover cars. We always confirm the exact cause with a diagnosis.
Air suspension
The car sinks when parked, a suspension warning or a compressor that runs for a long time — we check the air springs, the compressor, the valve block and the height sensors. We find the leak first, and only then replace parts.
Crankshaft on the 3.0 TDV6/SDV6
On these engines the bearings and the crankshaft are sensitive to oil quality and condition. Regular oil changes are the best prevention, and if there is knocking or an oil pressure fault we check the engine — diagnostics will confirm the cause.
Timing chain on the 2.0 Ingenium
On the 2.0 Ingenium diesels the timing chain can stretch. Rattling or camshaft position faults are a signal to check it — diagnostics will show whether a replacement is needed.
Cooling system
Coolant loss is a typical point to check: plastic pipes, the water pump and the turbocharger coolant lines. We check the system for leaks before it leads to overheating.
ZF 8HP transmission
Jerking, harsh or delayed gear changes — we check the ATF and the control unit, change the oil and carry out the adaptation. Diagnostics will show whether that is enough.
EGR, DPF, AdBlue and electronics
On diesels, limp mode, a filter warning light or an AdBlue message are typical points to check. With electronic faults we first check the 12V battery and charging — a weak battery triggers many warnings. On PHEV hybrids such as the P400e we check the 12V system and carry out general mechanical work.
Timing on the 5.0 V8
In some earlier 5.0 V8 petrol engines, the timing chain tensioners and guides wear faster — symptoms can include rattling on cold start and camshaft position codes. Diagnostics will confirm the cause.
Brakes and EPB parking brake
Heavy SUVs wear discs and pads faster, and a parking brake warning can be related to the EPB module, cable or caliper. We check the whole system — diagnostics will confirm the cause.

Range Rover service — questions
Do you repair Range Rover air suspension?
Yes. We diagnose the system, look for leaks and check the compressor, the valve block and the height sensors. We only replace the parts that need it — the quote is given before the repair.
Do you inspect a Range Rover before purchase?
Yes. A pre-purchase inspection includes computer diagnostics, an inspection on the lift and — on request — a cylinder borescope inspection.
How much does Range Rover diagnostics cost?
Computer diagnostics starts at 100 PLN. We go through the results with you and give you a repair quote before any work begins.
How much does Range Rover servicing cost in Warsaw?
Guide prices from our price list: computer diagnostics from 100 PLN, oil and filter change from 120 PLN, front brake pads from 200 PLN, ATF oil change from 400 PLN, timing chain replacement from 1000 PLN. The final cost depends on the model and parts — we give you a quote before the repair, and there is a 6-month warranty on labour.
Does servicing at an independent workshop affect the Range Rover warranty?
As a rule, it should not. EU rules (the Block Exemption Regulation, GVO) allow a car to be serviced outside the dealer network — what matters is that services follow the manufacturer’s schedule and use parts of appropriate quality. It is worth checking the terms of your specific warranty, especially an extended one, in the car’s documents. We record the work performed in the service documentation.
