Cooling system
Coolant leaks from the cooling system pipes and fittings, the water pump and the thermostat are a common issue on older Cayennes. If you are losing coolant or can smell it, it is worth checking right away.
Timing chain
Rattling on cold start and camshaft-position fault codes are a signal to check the chain, tensioners and guides — before the timing jumps.
PDK and Tiptronic transmissions
Jerking when pulling away, harsh or delayed gear changes — we check the control unit and the oil, change the oil and filter at the specified interval and carry out the adaptation.
Air suspension
The car sinks after standing, a suspension warning, the compressor running for a long time — we look for a leak in the air spring, lines or valve instead of replacing everything at once.
Engine — borescope inspection
With increased oil consumption, smoke or rough running, we inspect the cylinder walls with a camera without dismantling the engine. It is the basis for a decision before a purchase or a major repair.
3.0 / 4.2 TDI diesels
EGR, DPF and AdBlue — limp mode or the filter warning light. Diagnostics will show whether a regeneration or cleaning is enough, or whether a part needs replacing.

Porsche service — questions
Does servicing a Porsche outside an authorized dealer affect the warranty?
No, as long as the service follows the manufacturer’s recommendations and uses parts of the correct specification (EU regulations, the GVO/Block Exemption). We record the work performed in the service documentation.
Do you inspect a Porsche before purchase?
Yes. A pre-purchase inspection includes computer diagnostics, an inspection on the lift and — on request — a cylinder borescope inspection. You get a report with photos.
